The elevations on these houses have had modifications made. How these two particular houses looked originally is contained in the Sunny Blunts housing 1960s folder in the gallery section

Those houses that still exist today with the original flat roof design had entered into private ownership prior to the local authority carrying out major modifications in the 1980s

Since the mid 1980's most of the houses in Sunny Blunts have had pitched roofs added and the elevations refaced with conventional brickwork
